This blog will be a number of pages to show photographs of the bikes and the parts that go along with them. I will start with the Type 969. The following photos are how the bike appeared with all the original stuff on it. It came to me as a low hour bike is excellent original condition.
I bought the bike to race AHRMA's Classic 500 class and this bike is an excellent choice. I disassembled the whole bike and saved all the parts I could replace with reproduction or later model parts. Put aside were the wheels, tank, seat, shocks, # plates, fenders, airbox, carb and airboot, pegs, shifter, ignition, etc.
I built a new set of wheels with later model CZ hubs, Excel rims and Buchanan SS spokes. The rubber is Mich. S-12's. I tore down the engine and replaced all the bearings and seals and had the crank checked by Bertus. I installed a Mikuni 34mm carb. It has a 1st over piston in it and runs strong. I installed an electronic ignition. Folding shift lever, sidepipe style folding pegs, plastic repo fenders and airbox, GP style seat with custom cover, HI-Point alloy tank with custom leather hold down strap, Ohlin shocks in the rear. The pipes are in excellent shape with good chrome. I added period correct fork slider covers with the proper mount for this bike. New springs were added in the forks. The dampers are all original.
This bike has been a winner of many National and Regional events and series titles, 3rd in the National series and a winner of the " Best Presentation" at the Chehalis National Vintage Motocross.
The following photos are how the bike looks today in race trim:
The bike, if purchased, comes with all the original and race trim parts. The original parts are on part 2 of this blog. Go to, cut and paste each page to your browser : http://czcollectionforsale.blogspot.com/2015/01/here-are-photos-of-original-equipment.html
